Freedom From the Prison of Addiction

Freedom from the Prison of Addiction: Spiritual and Secular Wisdom by Martina Killeavy is a book based on worskhops Martina delivered with Brian Lennon, s.j. in Maghaberry, using both the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola and the Twelve Steps.

The book is written in very simple language with a forward by Greg Boyle, s.j., founder of Homeboy Industries in the US, and an Afterword by Peter McVerry, s.j., who works with homeless people in Dublin. It was published by Irish Messenger Publications with the support of the Jesuit Centre For Faith and Justice. lt is an excellent resort for people struggling with any form of addiction, and for those supporting them.
